Growers and producers require available technical and financial resources to keep their agricultural operations as productive and efficient as possible. Not only to meet the needs and challenges of today, but also those on the horizon.

Funding resources are made available through various Federal, State, local, and non-profit programs to assist farmers and ranchers to implement and adopt conservation and efficiency improvements throughout their farms and ranches. The challenge for growers and producers is to know what grant and funding programs are available and when to apply. We here at Streamline Irrigation have made it part of our mission to determine what resources are available to our customers and assist them in leveraging these tools to prioritize vital investments in infrastructure and management systems.

Grant Funding Solutions For

Dairy Operations

Rangeland Livestock Water Systems

Irrigated Cropland

Faced with the challenges of the Sustainable Water Management Act (SGMA) and water source reliability, growers must address irrigation inefficiencies and reduce groundwater and surface water depletion. Funding is available for water conveyance pipelines, irrigation pipelines, micro and drip irrigation systems, sprinkler irrigation systems, pumping plants, variable frequency drives, turnout structures, flowmeters, soil moisture monitoring, irrigation automation, and other improvements to support meeting these challenges.

Dairy Operations

Dairies and feed lots are required to manage all animal waste generated on their headquarters and apply the treated effluent and compost to associated cropland at agronomic rates. Funding is available for solid/liquid separation, silage and manure stacking slabs, pumping plants, flowmeters, manure transport pipelines, tailwater return systems, irrigation pipelines, subsurface drip irrigation, standpipe mixing stations, and other conservation systems.

Rangeland Livestock Water Systems

Livestock grazing operations heavily rely on annual precipitation to supply their feed and water needs across their ranch. Strategic placement of watering facilities, within fenced fields or paddocks, allows ranchers to maximize grazing and resilience of available forage within established or planned rotational systems. Livestock watering facilities consisting of wells, springs, solar pumping plants, tanks, and troughs can provide sustained water for both cattle and wildlife throughout the season.
